Looking back on learning.......
Phonics:
- This week we reviewed "y" as a vowel.
-We know it steals the sound of i and e.
-It says "e" at the end of a two syllable word and "i" at the end of a one syllable word.
Literacy:
-Students finished their research projects and presented them to their peers in small groups.
-Students spent time interviewing a classmate they don't know super well. They recorded their answers and each partner wrote a paragraph all about their classmate. It was lovely to see new connections forming.
